Kingwood rode a decent outing from starter John Rheinecker to victory over the Okanagan Lake Monsters at Elks Stadium. The final score was 7-5. Domingo Rueda notched his 4th save in 4 chances. Kingwood occupies 4th place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division at 63-59.

The Knights got a lift from shortstop Mario Moreno who had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first inning off Barney Archer. It was his 47th RBI of the season and put Kingwood in front, 1-0.
