Marauders Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
|
The Maple Marauders picked up a win at Legends Park, knocking off the San Francisco Earthquakes, 6-4. On the mound for Maple was left-hander Ze-dong Zhang, who played a pivotal role in the win. Minoru Aoki picked up the save, his 2nd. The Marauders have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 2nd win in 7 games.
Early in the game, right fielder Angel Barajas had a run-scoring single for Maple. It was his 7th hit of the season and put the Marauders on top, 2-1.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Zhang said.
