The Atlantic City Kings knocked off the Taos Blizzard, 6-5, at The Royal Colosseum. Nate McIntosh, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Atlantic City won. The second baseman was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Atlantic City has now won 8 straight.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Atlantic City pinch hitter Héctor García, facing Charlie Cruz, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Kings the 6-5 win.
"There's a lot of good karma around our club," said winning manager Wynn Decker.
