Eugene pitcher Tommy Brereton did his part in helping his team beat the Bel Air Princes, 6-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Tatsuji Kudo notched his 16th save in 21 chances. Eugene is 4th in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division with a record of 63-58.
Carlos Munoz aided the Eugene cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Munoz said after the game.
