Taos Blizzard starter Jose Barraza was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 4-2. Charlie Cruz converted his 14th save in 17 tries. The Blizzard, at 55-63, sit in 5th place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.
The Blizzard got a big at-bat from shortstop Tyler Crittenden. For the game, Crittenden was 1-3 with a double. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season gave Taos a 1-0 lead.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Taos skipper Noriyori Shirai.
