Behind the bravura of designated hitter Tatsuyoshi Ogasawara, the Nichols Gnats topped the Boise Bloodhounds by the score of 11-5. Ogasawara slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Gnats. Nichols bumps their record to 46-70 with the win.

The Gnats got a big at-bat from shortstop Jesus Najera. For the game, Najera went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 94th hit of the season gave Nichols a 2-0 lead.
