The Blizzard had to overcome a good performance from Brisbane pitcher Graham Bennett to claim a 3-2 win at Baylor Ballpark. Bennett went 5 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Charlie Cruz was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 13 of 16 save opportunities. Taos is now 53-62. Brisbane is 56-61.

In the top of the 6th, shortstop Tyler Crittenden gave Taos the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Blizzard had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out double off Brisbane pitcher Frank Patton changed that -- and Taos went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Crittenden said after the game.
