Mustangs Turn Back New Orleans, 4-3
|
The Republic was the site of a competitive game between the New Orleans Jedi Knights and San Angelo Mustangs.
The San Angelo Mustangs topped the New Orleans Jedi Knights, 4-3, in Lyman Bostock League action at The Republic. The player of the game was San Angelo pitcher Garth Bankston. In 9 innings, Bankston surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 10 and walking 4. He allowed 3 runs.
