The Barrow Frosties defeated the Westside Road Warriors, 5-2, in Donnie Moore League action at Road Warriors Field, with Barrow pitcher Fidel Betancourt named player of the game. With the win, the Frosties improved to 56-57.
The Frosties got a big at-bat from third baseman Steve Clark. For the game, Clark was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Barrow a 5-2 lead.
Betancourt attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
