Vikings Lose Again, 6-3, to Knights
|
Graham Armstrong made an impact in the 6-3 Kingwood win over Victoria. Armstrong went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Kingwood reliever Zane Gunter picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Dave O'Donohue was saddled with the loss. The slumping Vikings have lost 8 straight.
Armstrong had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Knights went on to win.
"We're in a funk right now," said Victoria skipper Bernardo Moreno.
