The Brisbane Bush Wackers got a strong performance from pitcher Luis Santana, who stymied the Bethesda offense en route to a 4-1 win at Baylor Ballpark. Jose Laracuente, credited with the save, is now 17 for 20 in save opportunities. Brisbane goes to 51-56, Bethesda to 51-59.
The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from left fielder Victor Huaracha. For the game, Huaracha went 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing double. His 1st double of the season gave Brisbane a 4-1 lead.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Bethesda manager Francisco Solano.
