Mario Calderon never let Eugene get something going. The Taos right-hander commanded his fastball in pitching the Blizzard to a 2-1 win. Taos reliever Charlie Cruz was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Jung-sang Lee. Taos is in 5th place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division with a record of 47-58.

Danny Frampton's hit in the top of the 11th was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a fastball from Jung-sang Lee for a solo home run. It put Taos in front, 2-1.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Taos field general Noriyori Shirai.
