Road Warriors Squelch Dancin' Outlaws Offense in Shutout Win
|
The Westside Road Warriors got a stellar performance from pitcher Cole Moore, who handcuffed the West Virginia offense en route to a 4-0 win at Road Warriors Field. Moore got the win, improving to 4-2. He allowed 1 hit and walked 1 over 5.1 innings. Moore allowed no earned runs. Westside occupies second place in the Donnie Moore League Tommy Lasorda Division at 60-45.
Tom Coleman aided the Westside cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-3 with a walk.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Westside skipper Wilfred Brooks.
