Bethesda left fielder Mario Yescas had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Yescas went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, even as Barrow beat the Hornets, 4-2. Yescas was named the player of the game despite the loss. Barrow, at 53-55, occupies third place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division.

The Frosties got a big at-bat from first baseman Brian Douglas. For the game, Douglas went 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Barrow a 4-2 lead.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Bethesda skipper Francisco Solano, "and it cost us."
