|
Boise beat West Virginia in a rain-soaked ballgame.
West Virginia left fielder Jason Craig had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Craig was 4 for 4 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk, even as Boise beat the Dancin' Outlaws, 8-3. Craig was named the player of the game despite the loss. Boise is last in the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division with a record of 38-65.
Ricardo Sandoval helped out the Boise cause in the top of the fifth inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
Sandoval told a Boise Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
