Choi Leads Saints to Win
St. Paul and Houston duked it out at Woodland Park and the Saints came out victorious.

The St. Paul Saints defeated the Houston Sting, 8-6. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Seung-kab Choi, who went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. St. Paul reliever Morgan Ball got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Sam Thomas was tagged with the loss.

The Saints got a big at-bat from designated hitter Vinny Tarin. For the game, Tarin was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the top of the ninth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season gave St. Paul a 8-6 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Choi told the St. Paul Daily News.
