Saints Come Up Short at Houston
Jake Bell had a good game, but he could not keep the St. Paul Saints from falling, 7-6, to the Houston Sting at Woodland Park. The St. Paul third baseman went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs in the loss. Sam Thomas got the save, his 1st in 1 chances. The Sting bumped their record to 55-45 with this latest triumph.

Logan Schoen aided the Houston cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 2-5 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Schoen said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
