The Taos Blizzard topped the New Orleans Jedi Knights, 4-2, in Donnie Moore League action at The Igloo. The player of the game was Taos designated hitter Bob Robles. Taos reliever Francisco Encarnación picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. José Martínez absorbed the loss. Charlie Cruz got the save, his 11th in 13 chances.

Had Bernie Gramuglia not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Gramuglia hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Blizzard.

New Orleans manager Phillip Smith said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

Taos is in 5th place in the Donnie Moore League Dusty Baker Division with a record of 44-54.
