The Coney Island Cyclones handed the Brisbane Bush Wackers a sound defeat, 12-3, at Coney Island Coliseum. Taylor Allen was a main contributor to the win. He was 2 for 2 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for Coney Island. The second-place Cyclones improved to 55-44.

Allen had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 3-1 cutter from Frank Patton, he banged a run-scoring double to center, giving the Cyclones a 4-3 lead. It was the 16th double of the year for Allen.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Allen said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
