The Houston Sting and starting pitcher Alberto Dimas stifled the Okanagan offense en route to a comfortable 10-0 win at Elks Stadium. The Sting bumped their record to 54-44 with this latest triumph.

Dimas, a native of Puerto Pilón, Panama, was dealing all game. He kept Okanagan hitters off-balance, while giving the Sting 6 quality innings. Dimas threw 83 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 10.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Dimas told the Houston Bulletin.
