Dancin' Outlaws Come Back Late, Nip Blizzard
The Taos Blizzard got a sterling performance from pitcher Jose Fernandez, but the Dancin' Outlaws still prevailed, 3-2. Fernandez was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 5 innings of 2-hit ball. West Virginia reliever Aaron Valenti picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Charlie Cruz shouldered the loss. Today's win puts West Virginia at 48-45, while Taos falls to 42-52.

The Dancin' Outlaws were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when center fielder Orlando Morales turned a full count sinker from Charlie Cruz into a 2-run home run. The walk-off home run sent a roar through the crowd and gave West Virginia a thrilling 3-2 win.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" West Virginia manager Keith Irwin said.
