Mustangs Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The San Angelo Mustangs did just enough to sneak past the Nichols Gnats, 4-3, at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. San Angelo pitcher Dan Garcia earned player of the game honors. Tony Maldonado picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-0. Ezra Bryan was tagged with the loss. The Mustangs have an impressive 58-37 record.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from catcher Reilly Corkum. For the game, Corkum went 1-1. In the bottom of the 11th, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 6th hit of the season gave San Angelo a 4-3 lead.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Garcia.
