The Eugene Emeralds got a strong performance from pitcher Jung-sang Lee, who stymied the Tree City offense en route to a 4-1 win at The Nut House. Lee got the win, improving to 5-5. He allowed 6 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. Lee allowed 1 earned run. Tatsuji Kudo converted his 10th save in 13 tries.

Oscar Littleworth aided the Eugene cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI.

The Emeralds raised their record to 45-47.
