The Gnats had to overcome a good performance from Victoria pitcher Dave O'Donohue to claim a 3-2 win at The drakkar. O'Donohue went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Nichols reliever Ben Bower picked up the win, bumping his record to 5-2. Steve King was collared with the loss. Nichols now has a 3-game win streak.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Ben Gleason came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Victoria pitcher Steve King, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Nichols on top, 3-2.
