Mann Hits 2 home runs in Knights Win
|
Joe Mann knocked in 5 runs to help Kingwood beat Charleston, 8-5. Mann produced 1 single, 1 double, and 2 home runs. The Knights bumped their record to 45-44 with this latest triumph.
Mann had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch slider from Zach Hensler, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Knights a 8-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Mann.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Mann.
