Victory Pushes River Chiefs Record to 60-25
|
The Chippewa River Chiefs beat the St. Paul Saints, 5-2, at The Reservation. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Dave Caston, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Chippewa starter Mike Allamon was credited with the win after throwing 102 pitches over 7.1 innings.
