Thrilling Victory Pushes Princes Win Streak to 5
|
The Bel Air Princes got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Han-soo Lee, but it was good enough for the club to take a 2-1 decision over the Tree City Black Squirrels. The first-place Princes have won 5 in a row.
The Princes got a big at-bat from first baseman Aaron Kelch. For the game, Kelch was 2 for 6 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the 11th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 115th hit of the season gave Bel Air a 2-1 lead.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Tree City manager Ramón Guerrero.
