The San Angelo Mustangs had no problem beating the Boise Bloodhounds, 13-1, at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. Trent John led the way. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6 for San Angelo. The Bloodhounds have now dropped 5 straight.

John had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a 2-run triple. The Mustangs went on to win.

Boise manager Todd Barrett called the blowout loss "ugly."
