Road Warriors Get Close Win Over Hornets
|
Francisco Hernández helped his team muscle past the Bethesda Hornets, 8-7. In the game, the Westside catcher went 1-2 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Westside has now won 3 in a row.
Hernández had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-2 fastball from Steve Paul, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Road Warriors a 8-7 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Hernández.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Hernández said after the game.
