Victoria and Boise duked it out at Grand Canyon Valley Park and the Vikings came out victorious.
The Victoria Vikings got a strong performance from pitcher Eric Stark, who stymied the Boise offense en route to a 5-2 win at Grand Canyon Valley Park. Stark went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 5-7.
Sang-soo Park aided the Victoria cause with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the top of the fifth. For the game, the catcher drove in one run.
"I really like what we did out there today," Stark said after the game.
