Hops Come Back Late to Top Texans
The San Diego Hops bested the Dallas Texans by a score of 6-2, with right fielder Nadir Rizvi getting the main credit. On the day, Rizvi was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Hops. San Diego reliever Mitsuzuka Koyama picked up the win to move to 4-2. Adrien Clément suffered the loss. San Diego, at 22-37, occupies last place in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

Rizvi had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 0-2 fastball from Adrien Clément, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Hops a 6-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Rizvi.

"I thought we played a nice game," Rizvi told the San Diego Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
