Guzman Dazzles in Hawaii Win
In a low-scoring game between the Hawaii Islanders and the New England Colonials, pitcher David Guzman was masterful on the mound. The Hawaii left-hander was named the player of the game in Hawaii's 3-1 win. Bernalldo Rocchi locked down his 2nd save. The Islanders, with just their 2nd win so far in 2034, have yet to catch fire.

The Colonials had few good swings against Guzman, the left-hander, who threw 91 pitches over 7.1 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 2 hits.

Afterward, Islanders manager Leland Ray was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
