Victory Pushes Blazers Record to 32-24
|
Getting a good performance from first baseman Levi Meeuwenberg, the Bloomington Blazers defeated the Maple Marauders, 7-4. Meeuwenberg was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Blazers. Paco Berroa picked up the save, his 18th. The win puts the Blazers at 32-24, while the Marauders drop to 34-22.
Sean Clark contributed to the Bloomington win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
