Taos second baseman Aaron Tarter was sensational. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Kingwood beat the Blizzard, 9-8. Tarter was named the player of the game despite the loss. Dylan Thompkins notched his 9th save in 11 chances. Earl George hit a 2-run double off Dan Van Sickle in the top of the eighth, which put the Knights in front, 8-7. In addition to the double, George had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 4.
