Dancin' Outlaws Take Nail-Biter Over Saints
The Dancin' Outlaws had to overcome a fine performance from St. Paul pitcher Cheng-ji Guan to grab a 4-3 win at Penlee Park. Guan allowed 2 earned runs over 6 innings. West Virginia reliever Virgil Rivard picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-1. Konrad Dortmans was collared with the loss. West Virginia is now riding a 3-game win streak.

The Dancin' Outlaws got a big at-bat from first baseman Roberto Ávila. For the game, Ávila went 2-4 with a triple and a walk. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 8th hit of the season gave West Virginia a 4-3 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Ávila said.
