The Taos Blizzard defeated the Kingwood Knights, 4-3, in Donnie Moore League action at The Igloo, with Taos pitcher Javier Polanco named player of the game. With the victory, the Blizzard record now stands at 31-42.
Bernie Gramuglia had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Taos. With the bases loaded and the Blizzard leading 2-1, he got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Kingwood manager Herb Good.
