Princes Win Streak Reaches 6
|
The Bel Air Princes went home winners at The Igloo, thanks in large part to starter Fernando Buzo. Buzo silenced the Taos Blizzard, enabling Bel Air to grab the 4-1 win. Buzo picked up the win for Bel Air, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 5-1. Toru Saito converted his 8th save in 8 tries.
The Princes had to work out of trouble in the bottom of the ninth. The score was 4-1, Bel Air, with one out. Taos, with runners on 1st and 2nd, was mounting a threat. Colin Mayhem dug in at the plate, but on a 0-2 curveball, he struck out.
Taos's current losing streak is now 4 games.
