Okanagan and San Angelo played a hard-fought contest at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium.
Okanagan got a strong outing from Adam Andersen as the Lake Monsters defeated the San Angelo Mustangs, 3-2, at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium. Lai-hsiang Zhang converted his 1st save in 1 tries.
The Lake Monsters got a big at-bat from third baseman Zachery Randazzo. For the game, Randazzo was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 16th hit of the season gave Okanagan a 3-2 lead.
San Angelo manager Clyde Bowman said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
The Lake Monsters bumped their record to 37-35 with this latest triumph.
