Victory Pushes Cyclones Record to 40-30
|
The Coney Island Cyclones topped the Boise Bloodhounds by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to first baseman Lloyd Noland. Noland was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Cyclones. Takamasa Oki notched his 18th save in 22 chances. The Cyclones bumped their record to 40-30 with this latest triumph.
Noland had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Cyclones went on to win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Noland.
