Frosties Lose to Princes in Walk Off
|
The Bel Air Princes faced a tough opponent in Barrow pitcher Bob Tamez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Philip Banks Field by a final score of 6-3. Tamez went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Bel Air reliever Jeremy Battle picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Francisco Palazuelos was collared with the loss. The Princes bumped their record to 42-29 with this latest triumph.
Bel Air won the game in the bottom of the 17th inning. With no outs and Jimmy Martin on the mound for Barrow, shortstop Josh Cobleigh hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Princes fans to their feet.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Cobleigh.
