Houston got an elite performance from starting pitcher Alberto Dimas in taking a 2-1 decision over the Brisbane Bush Wackers. The Sting bumped their record to 37-33 with this latest triumph.
Benny Lipke aided the Houston cause with a solo home run in the top of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop went 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk.
