Mustangs Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus St. Paul
|
The San Angelo Mustangs picked up a win at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium, knocking off the St. Paul Saints, 7-3. Starting pitcher John Hensley, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Hensley went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 5, and struck out 7. His record improves to 6-1. The Mustangs bumped their record to 46-22 with this latest triumph.
Kyung-hwan Jun aided the San Angelo cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Jun.
