The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Chippewa fans at The Reservation.
The Chippewa River Chiefs topped the Winfield Warriors, 10-1, in Lyman Bostock League action at The Reservation. The player of the game was Chippewa pitcher and Anchorage, Alaska native Jason Bouge. The River Chiefs have an impressive 45-21 record.
Juan Quevedo hit a run-scoring double off Alex Munoz in the bottom of the third, which put the River Chiefs in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, Quevedo had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
