Pioneers Lose, 6-4, at Bomber Ballpark
|
Starting pitcher Vincenzo Rizzoli pitched well enough to help the South Carolina Bombers beat the Vancouver Pioneers by the score of 6-4. Ed Armstrong sewed up the save, his 18th. South Carolina now has a 3-game win streak.
Rafael Campos, who is rated as the 23rd best prospect by BNN, aided the South Carolina cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the second. For the game, the right fielder was 2-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Campos. "And not try to do too much."
