The Westside Road Warriors got a sterling performance from pitcher Javier Figueroa, but the Emeralds still prevailed, 4-0. Figueroa was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 1-hit ball. Fernando Guzmán got the win, improving to 6-1. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 5 hits and no runs, while striking out 11 and walking 3. The Emeralds bumped their record to 30-30 with this latest triumph.
Andrew Hovis helped out the Eugene cause in the top of the seventh inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1 for 1 with a double, while adding 3 RBI.
