The Tree City Black Squirrels dealt the Bel Air Princes a 7-1 loss at The Nut House. Bud Boulay was the star on offense. He went 3 for 3 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Black Squirrels bumped their record to 31-29 with this latest triumph.
Ramon Abreu, who is tied for 3rd in the DML in home runs with 13, aided the Tree City cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the catcher was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Tree City manager Ramón Guerrero.
