Blizzard Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
Fans got some free baseball at Billy Mathews Field.

The Taos Blizzard defeated the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 7-5, in Donnie Moore League action at Billy Mathews Field, with Taos right fielder Mike Carter named player of the game. Reliever Caleb McBee picked up the win. His record improves to 4-1. Kelly Livingston took the loss.

Bernie Gramuglia's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a curveball from Kelly Livingston for a run-scoring double. It put Taos in front, 5-4.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Carter told the Taos Bulletin.

St. Petersburg has now lost 6 consecutive games.
