The San Angelo Mustangs defeated the Boise Bloodhounds, 11-4, in Lyman Bostock League action at Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium, with San Angelo pitcher Tony Maldonado named player of the game. San Angelo has now won 6 straight.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Kyung-hwan Jun. For the game, Jun was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. In the bottom of the seventh, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 47th hit of the season gave San Angelo a 6-4 lead.
