Panthers Turn Back Okanagan, 3-2

The Charleston Panthers topped the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 3-2, in Lyman Bostock League action at Franklin Mountains Field. The player of the game was Charleston pitcher and Canby, Oregon native Josh King. The win was J.P. Frazier's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Tony Salas took the loss for Okanagan. Ronnie Kimble converted his 12th save in 15 tries.
Dinh-Hy Mai aided the Charleston cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Mai after the game.
The Panthers, at 22-35, sit in last place in the Lyman Bostock League Dick Williams Division.
