Biedermann Excels in Kingwood Win
|
The Kingwood Knights defeated the Charleston Panthers, 12-4, at Stable Park today. Leading the charge for Kingwood was first baseman Ryan Biedermann. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Knights bumped their record to 29-26 with this latest triumph.
Antonio Torres chipped in for Kingwood with a grand slam home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the shortstop had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Torres said. "We did a good job of that today."
